The Place That I Call Home

Our little village we call home
Snugly nestled by the sea
With the harbour sparkling near our door
A lovely sight to see.

With fishing boats along the shore
Where artist often come
To paint the scenes of East Jeddore
The place that I call home.

To see the evening sunset
Is more beautiful than gold
Done by the Master Painter
Is a beauty to behold.

The sky ‘s so blue, the trees so green
The birds go flying by
As the sun sets slowly on the sea
The fishing boats go by.

With neighbour helping a neighbour
And friends commune with friend
My country home of East Jeddore
Is where my days will end!
